Short Bio or Description of your Practice (Optional)
Creating a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients is my top priority. I have been trained in psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral and systems-centered methods and have a PhD in Pastoral Psychology from Boston University. In addition to individual and couple's therapy, I offer time-limited groups (for adults and for teens) where people receive support and learn and practice skills that help them overcome anxiety, depression, and relational problems. These groups ("labs for life") are an excellent supplement to individual therapy. Please consider referring clients who would benefit from an empowering group experience. I often draw upon wisdom, humor, and science research to facilitate positive change.
