Kim has been in the child & family counseling field since 1996 and in private practice since 2003, after working for many years in Director positions for child outpatient, home-based and residential programs. She specializes in divorcing & divorced families, family reunification, step-parenting, coparenting and court-appointed parent coordination services.
Kim also offers short-term consultation, assessment and treatment services, as well as longer term treatment and also offers consultation to schools and programs. She is a member of multiple professional organizations and groups and is on the Board of Directors for clinical, family and youth services collaboratives and offers supervision for clinicians seeking licensure.
Kim has been licensed since 1998 and working extensively in various clinical capacities with children, adolescents, parents, families and couples in various capacities including school, home and community based, outpatient, residential settings. She earned her Bachelors degree in psychology from the University of Maine in 1994 and her Masters degree in Counseling
psychology from Northeastern University in 1996.
Her next endeavors are Collaborative Law, Mediation, and Massachusetts Divorce Parenting Education training. Kim lives in Newburyport and enjoys being involved, volunteering, and helping her community.
