As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist (CST) and Couples and Relationship Therapist, I specialize in family systems therapy, with a focus on couple relationships and sexuality, helping clients resolve problems and develop improvement in these areas, as well as improvement in mental health and well-being, increased pleasure, passion, joy, and fun. I work with a variety of modalities including narrative therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness (MBCT), strategic family therapy, evidenced-based practices and more. With twenty-three years of experience, the clients I have treated report very positive outcomes in improving relationships, sexual health, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma, parenting, substance use, coping with illnesses, disability, aging and more. In addition, I have forty-three of real-world experience in the arts and in business. I'm licensed in MA, RI and FL. I am also certified in The Developmental Model from the Couples Institute (Bader/Pearson) and EMDR Level I for trauma.
